Feedback

From the feedback we received from our teacher we had to include more shots in order to show continuity and we also had to rearrange the capture of the shot. We changed shot seven to show a close up of the character trying to find the alarm, hitting the alarm and then the alarm falling on the floor.

So shot eight will now be a mid-shot showing the character is trying to reach for the alarm clock that has fallen off the table. A wide shot will then show the character stumbling on the floor. This extra shot will create continuity and portray the lack of energy that character has in the morning.

We also changed shot ten around to show a close up of the characters feet and in the distance the characters head will be popping up in between the feet. We also decided to show a high angle shot of the character lying lifelessly on the floor. The added shots will create a more flowing opening sequence and will also contain humour to show the characters personality.

From the close up of the feet, shot eleven will be a cut away showing the character approaching the mirror in her bedroom. Also we extended that scene to show the characters routine when she wakes. The character will be doing funny things such as taking out her retainer in a humorous manner.

We also extended shot 12 to show more of the character’s personality and also add a touch of humour. The scene will now show the character throwing her clothes onto the floor and a mid-close up will show a pile of clothes gradually building up. The shot will be captured from the right and the increasing pile will be shown, then captured from the left showing a bigger pile of clothes.

Shot fourteen has been extended to show continuity in the scene. A cut away shot will show the character entering the bathroom and an over the shoulder shot will show the character reaching for her toothbrush. Also a side shot has been added to show the character applying toothpaste to her teeth rather than applying it to her toothbrush.

Shot sixteen has now become one tracking shot that will show the character entering her bedroom. A mid- close up will show the character picking up a top from the floor and putting it on. This is similar to our fist storyboard.
The last few shots have remained the same and will be captured using the same shots.
